CRC is honored to be partnering with Kenzo Estate for their annual charity event to be held on Saturday, August 6th at their Napa location. A philanthropist at heart, Kenzo Tsujimoto is extremely passionate about giving back to the Napa Valley community. In 2015, Kenzo launched an annual charity event at Kenzo Estate to raise funds for local children’s charitable organizations. This year, all proceeds will be donated to Community Resources for Children. For information about the event and tickets: http://www.kenzoestate.eventbrite.com
A native of Nara, Japan, Kenzo Tsujimoto gained much success in the 1980’s as Founder and CEO of Capcom, best known for the development of original games such as “Street Fighter” and “Mega Man”. A wine-enthusiast, Kenzo became enchanted with Napa Valley after the 1976 Judgment of Paris launched Napa wines onto the world stage and he began frequenting the area after opening his Capcom USA offices in 1985 in the Silicon Valley. Kenzo’s dream of creating world-class wines of distinction, artistry and tradition was finally realized in 2010 with the grand opening of Kenzo Estate in Napa. Offering an elegant collection of Bordeaux blends, Kenzo Estate is a stunning 4,000 acre property located in Wild Horse Valley at the top of Mt. George in southeast Napa. Acquired by Kenzo Tsujimoto in 1990, 145 acres of the pristine natural preserve were planted with vines by celebrated Viticulturist David Abreu. Famed Winemaker Heidi Barrett crafts wines of finesse, focus and grace with unique characteristics of mountain grape-growing.
