Community Resources for Children (CRC)
Offers Online Child Care Referrals
March 3, 2011, Napa, CA
Parents in Napa County now have the convenience of getting free child care referrals online by visiting Community Resources for Children’s (CRC) website at www.crcnapa.org and filling out and submitting a simple questionnaire. The information that is provided will generate a list of licensed facilities that best match their particular family needs. CRC recommends that parents plan to visit several facilities, and go well prepared with a list of questions. They provide information about child care providers as it is available, but do not make recommendations. Technical assistance from referral specialists, along with a variety of printed materials, is available to assist parents in making well-informed decisions for their children. Please note that not all providers wish to be included in the online referral database; therefore, online searches do not represent all available providers. Additional referrals are available by calling 253-0376, ext. 200, or by visiting CRC at 3299 Claremont Way, Napa, CA.
CRC is entering their 33rd year of providing resources for the early care and education of children in Napa County. Their Toy Library & Early Learning Center includes educational toys, curriculum kits, and books and videos on a wide array of child development topics. Membership is open to all Napa County residents. Other services include training and technical assistance for child care providers and assistance paying for child care for income eligible families. For more information call 253-0376, ext. 101 or visit www.crcnapa.org.
