Debora J. Ferrero-Waite is a native Californian and longtime resident of Napa Valley with a life long passion for teaching and learning. Debora holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Supervision. During her twenty-six year career in education, Debora was employed by the Napa Valley Unified School District for fifteen years. She served as an elementary school teacher, principal, district administrator, and founder of Shearer Charter School.
Now in her second career, Debora is involved with the nonprofit sector. Prior to joining the staff at Community Resources for Children, Debora served as the first Executive Director of the St. Helena Family Center and Puertas Abiertas Community Resource Center. She co-designed and directed the Middle School Connections Collaborative Project. With a spirit for exploring, discovering, and connecting – ideas, people, and resources – Debora has a special interest in program design and development and collaborative partnerships.
