The Napa County Child Care Stabilization Fund

This program distributes $500,000 in funding from the Napa County’s CARES Act funds and an additional $500,000 from First 5 Napa County, Napa Valley Community Foundation, Napa Valley Vintners, and other individual and anonymous donors to child care programs that are open and can demonstrate economic hardship directly related to COVID-19. Grants will be distributed broadly throughout the county to licensed programs that provide child care services to the most vulnerable county residents. Publicly funded programs are not eligible to apply. Funding is limited to one grant per individual or business owner.

The application is open from Friday, November 6th at 9 am through Monday, November 23rd at 12:00 pm. To complete the application, providers will need access to their program’s monthly expenses and enrollment numbers for February 2020 and October 2020. Monthly expenses include rent/mortgage, business, and/or property insurance (including liability and workers compensation insurance, if applicable), utilities, payroll (including salaries and payroll taxes), benefits, and other miscellaneous expenses. You will be asked about each expense separately.
